
How to make V60 coffee
How to prepare V60 coffee:
After preparing the tool, filter, scale, coffee beans and water at a temperature of 90-92
Place the filter and then wet it completely with hot water
(To clean the filter and heat the tool)
Then get rid of the used water while making sure the filter is stable.
The first important step is grinding
The degree of grinding specialty coffee
And drip coffee differs according to the tool in the V60, the degree of grinding is a little finer than coarse sugar grains.
(Important note after grinding the coffee, you should not prepare it for more than a quarter of an hour so as not to lose the special aromas of the coffee)
Place the tool on the scale with the filter
And add the ground coffee inside the filter and zero the scale and then pour hot water from the jug on the coffee in a circular and gentle manner.
Pass the water between the coffee beans and do not pour continuously until the coffee is saturated with water and goes down without its taste being strong.
We let it go down and this is called the extraction time and it extends approximately from two to three minutes depending on your desire to prepare.
Tips for preparing v60 coffee:
In the first pour, the weight of the water should be at least twice the weight of the coffee.
That means if you are using 15 grams of coffee, pour 30 to 45 grams of water.
(This is called the blooming stage).
Wait between 30 to 45 seconds, or until the water comes down and the coffee dries.
We will moisten the coffee with approximately 45 ml of water and wait 35 seconds and then complete the filtration process to 225 ml ...
Make sure to pour the water in the same way, from the middle and to the edges in a circular manner, and return to the middle until the weight of the water reaches 225 ml.
Now the coffee is ready. It is preferable to stir/mix the coffee before pouring it into the cup.
